Measuring Resistance

IVI Soft Front Panels—DMM measures resistance with your IviDMM instrument. Complete the following steps to measure resistance:

1. Connect a signal to the specified channel of your IviDMM instrument.
2. Click 2–Wire Ohms or 4–Wire Ohms on the front panel.
3. Click Run. IVI Soft Front Panels—DMM continuously acquires and displays resistance measurements in the Measurement display. Or click Single, IVI Soft Front Panels—DMM acquires and displays a resistance measurement in the Measurement display.
4. If the display shows +OVER or –OVER, make sure the input signal has not exceeded the range selected on the front panel.
