Sets or retrieves the version number of the HTML Application (HTA).

Syntax

HTML<HTA:APPLICATION VERSION = sVersion... >
Scripting[ sVersion = ] HTA:APPLICATION.version

Possible Values

sVersionString that specifies the version number of the application.

The property is read-only. The property has no default value.

Remarks

Note  The version property is read-only; however, the VERSION attribute can be used to set the initial value.

This example shows how to retrieve the version property.
