Setting Hummingbird Neighborhood Options
You can select a number of options to determine the performance of Hummingbird Neighborhood. You can specify these options for both Hummingbird FTP and HostExplorer.
To set Hummingbird Neighborhood Options:
- Launch Hummingbird Neighborhood.
- On the View menu, click Hummingbird Neighborhood Options. Click one of the following six tabs to select and enter configuration information:
- General Page (Hummingbird Neighborhood Options Dialog Box)—Lets you select values for display and confirmation choices.
- FTP General Page (Hummingbird Neighborhood Options Dialog Box)—Lets you specify values for viewing files, anonymous FTP connections, and other general FTP operations.
- FTP Transfer Page (Hummingbird Neighborhood Options Dialog Box)—Lets you specify values for file name conversion and select the file-transfer mode.
- FTP Cache Page (Hummingbird Neighborhood Options Dialog Box)—Lets you set the maximum size of the local cache and the length of time that cache items remain on your local PC.
- HostExplorer Page (Hummingbird Neighborhood Options Dialog Box)—Lets you select either the Quick Connect or the Connect with Host Prompt option.
- Sounds Page (Hummingbird Neighborhood Options Dialog Box)—Lets you specify sound files to be played when certain events are complete.
