Synchronizing Files Using the GUI

Hummingbird FTP lets you synchronize files to and from a remote FTP site. This makes it easy to maintain sets of files that must always have the same content. The files to be synchronized must first be set up as a synchronization item in the Hummingbird Neighborhood Synchronization Wizard.

To synchronize a file using the GUI:

  1. In Hummingbird Neighborhood, select the FTP profile that you want to use.
  2. Establish an FTP connection.
  3. On the toolbar, click the SynchWiz button. The Hummingbird Neighborhood Synchronization Wizard dialog box opens.
  4. From the Synchronization list, select the desired file(s).
  5. Click Synchronize.
  6. Click OK.
