Connecting to a Host

After you create a HostExplorer session profile, you can use it to connect to the server.

Note: 
  Any session profiles that you create using HostExplorer automatically appear in Hummingbird Neighborhood.

To connect to a host automatically:

  1. In Hummingbird Neighborhood, select the HostExplorer profile you want to use.
  2. Perform one of the following actions:
    • Double-click the profile.
    • Right-click the profile and click Quick-Connect.
    • On the File menu, click Quick-Connect.

When the host logon screen opens, you can log on and start working.

To connect to a different host using the same session profile:

  1. In Hummingbird Neighborhood, locate the HostExplorer profile you want to use.
  2. Right-click the profile and click Connect. The Connect dialog box opens showing the host address that you specified for the session profile.
  3. Specify a different host name.
  4. Click OK.

When the host logon screen opens, you can log on and start working.
