Enabling Directory Caching
By default, each time you create a new FTP profile, directory caching is enabled. You can change the default, so that directory caching is automatically disabled when you create a new profile.
To enable directory caching:
- In Hummingbird Neighborhood, select the FTP profile associated with the cache that you want to enable.
- Right-click the profile and click Properties. The FTP Site Properties dialog box opens.
- Click the Advanced tab.
- Select Enable Directory Caching.
- Click OK.
To disable directory caching by changing the default setting:
- On the Windows Start menu, click Run.
- Click Browse.
- In Files of Type, select All Files. Browse to the ftp directory where the user files are stored on your machine. To access the User Files folder, double-click the User Files shortcut in the Hummingbird Connectivity program group.
- Open the heshell.ini file.
- Add the following line to the FTP Settings section:
