Understanding HostExplorer Profiles

In addition to letting you work with FTP profiles that contain settings necessary to connect to an FTP server, Hummingbird Neighborhood provides you with full accessibility to HostExplorer session profiles.

Note:
To work with HostExplorer profiles, you must have already installed HostExplorer, available through the Custom or Complete installation of your Hummingbird Connectivity product.

A HostExplorer session profile is a file that contains the necessary information (host domain name or IP address and host terminal type) needed to connect to a host. A session profile also contains default settings that control session functionality and appearance. You can access and customize the default settings before or after you connect to a host.
