Working with Layouts

In HostExplorer, you can save a frequently-used working environment as a layout so that you can re-use it later. For example, if you often work with four specific sessions placed at certain positions on the computer screen, you can save this working environment as a layout. Therefore, the next time you open this layout, the same four sessions will appear in the exact positions and size in which you saved them.

Note:
For information on saving layouts, refer to the HostExplorer Help.

Hummingbird Neighborhood lets you work with these HostExplorer layouts.

To open a layout:

In Hummingbird Neighborhood, select the layout that you want to open, and click Connect. Hummingbird Neighborhood launches the sessions of the layout in the same positions and size in which they were saved.

To rename a layout:

  1. In Hummingbird Neighborhood, locate the layout that you want to rename.
  2. Right-click the layout, and click Rename. The Rename To dialog box opens.
  3. Modify the name of the layout.
  4. Click OK.
