Uploading Files to an FTP Server

You can copy files from your PC to a remote server.

To upload files to an FTP server:

  1. In Hummingbird Neighborhood, select the FTP profile you want to use.
  2. Establish an FTP connection with the selected FTP server.
  3. Make sure that you have set the appropriate FTP transfer mode (that is, ASCII, binary, or Auto Select).
  4. In the Exploring window, copy and paste, or select and drag the file(s) you want to transfer into the destination directory or desired location on the remote server.
    Note:
To stop the file transfer at any time, click Cancel in the Transfer dialog box. To view the details of the transfer, click Show Details. To keep this window open, click the push-pin located in the top left-hand corner.
