Introduction to viewports

Vanda Engine 1 needs a window which it will render into. Viewports are rectangular areas within the window.
The standard viewports of Vanda Engine 1 show you four different views of your current scene: perspective, front, top and side view.

Perspective viewport (Lower left) uses perspective cameras, while orthographic viewports (Top, Side, Front) use orthographic camera.

Orthographic cameras do not show perspective. Perspective cameras distort the view the way a real-world camera would.

At times you might want to look at your scene through a large, undivided viewport, giving you a "picture-window" view of your scene. To do this, you can use Window | Switch from the main menu.

Only one viewport can be in the active state at a time. When working with multiple viewports, the last view you clicked in is the active view. The active viewport is indicated by a yellow border.
