Introduction to PhysX
  

Vanda Engine uses NVIDIA PhysX physics engine for real time physics interactions. PhysX is used by game engines such as Unreal Engine and Unity, and is used in many games such as Need for Speed: Shift, Mafia II, Batman: Arkham City, etc.
 
Built in Physics Editor of Vanda Engine supports the following PhysX elements:
·    Static, Dynamic, and Kinematic Actors
·    Box, Sphere, Capsule, Convex Hull, and Triangulated Mesh shapes
·    Triggers
·    Character Controller
 
Moreover, Vanda Engine imports the following PhysX elements from an external PhysX XML file:
·    Scene properties
·    Static and Dynamic Actors
·    All types of PhysX shapes
·    Materials
