Advanced Page (5250 Data Transfer Properties Dialog Box)
Enable Directory Caching—Enables directory caching.
Update Cache On Connect—Refreshes the cache with updated directly listings each time you connect to the host.
Code Page—Lets you select a host code page to convert data received from the host from EBCDIC to ASCII (and to translate messages sent to the host from ASCII to EBCDIC). The default language is US English-037.
When Downloading
If PC File Exists—Lets you specify what you want to occur in the event that the transferred file already exists on your machine.
Default PC File Type—Specifies the type of file you want transferred data to assume on your machine. You can specify text formats or Microsoft Excel formats.
Include Column Titles—Includes column heading information in the file.
Add File Extensions—Displays the downloaded files with file extensions.
When Uploading
If Member Exists— Specifies what you want to occur in the event that the member already exists on the remote file system.
Strip File Extensions—Displays the uploaded files with file extension on the Remote file system.
