Begins an asynchronous operation to upload a blob from a stream.

Parameters

source

Type: System.IO.Stream

The data stream to upload.

callback

Type: System.AsyncCallback

The callback delegate that will receive notification when the asynchronous operation completes.

state

Type: System.Object

A user-defined object that will be passed to the callback delegate.

Type: System.IAsyncResult

An IAsyncResult that references the asynchronous operation.

Exceptions

This operation is not supported on objects of type CloudPageBlob.

Remarks

For optimum performance, the stream should support a length.
