Recommended Extended Command

National Instruments recommends that you use the Reset Module (!Z) extended command instead of the Reset command.

Description

The Reset command resets all of the operating characteristics of the addressed FieldPoint module to power-up conditions. If the SnapShot feature is enabled, the user-defined power-up settings are automatically written to the FieldPoint module. Otherwise, the FieldPoint module is initialized with its factory default settings. By default, turn-around delay and watchdog are disabled.
