Description

The Read Firmware Revision command returns the firmware revision code for the FieldPoint network module.

Syntax

Success Response

A[revision]

[revision]

Four ASCII-hex characters specify the firmware revision.

Error Responses

E_NO_MODULE There is no module at the specified address.

Example

This command requests the firmware revision of the FieldPoint network module at address 0. The response is as follows:

A0021[checksum][cr]

The revision number is 0021. You can find the latest firmware updates by going to ni.com/support and selecting Drivers and Updates»Current Versions»Distributed I/O - FieldPoint.
