The oinstall and dba groups were created. The user oracle was created and added to oinstall as the primary group and to dba as a secondary group.
NoteThese operations were
done using the Users and Groups application rather
than the command-line tools groupadd, useradd, and usermod because the
latter returned puzzling results.
