This installation involves many manual steps. You will need the installation instructions.

1. Load http://www.oracle.com. Click on Database under the Productslist header.
2. Select Database from the Documentationmenu.
3. Click Oracle Database 10g Release 1 (10.1) Documentationunder the Previous Releasesmenu.
4. Click PDF next to the B12091-02 part number. The document title is Oracle Database Client Quick Installation Guide 10g Release 1 (10.1.0.3) for Linux x86
