Click Record, and speak into the microphone.
-
When you are done, click Stop.

To listen to the recording, click Playback Recording.
-
If you are satisfied with the recording, click OK. Otherwise, click Cancel. Then, open this dialog box again, and make a new recording.
A new session is added, and the recording is automatically added to it.
-
-
As necessary, add files to the new session.
Note
-
If you click Stop and then click Record again, the new recording is added to the previous one. That is, it does not record over the previous one.
-
The Session Recorder has a level indicator. It shows green, yellow and red recording levels, and a line that shows recent peaks. Make sure to not have too many peaks in yellow or red areas.
-
Properties of the recording appear at the bottom and are added as metadata. You can see them in the Properties tab with that <name>.wav file is selected.
