ANLA

The Alaska Native Language Archive (ANLA) is a repository for materials which document the indigenous languages of Alaska. ANLA will consider for accession any written material and recordings in and about the indigenous languages of Alaska.

ANLA is an access protocol option you can choose.

Access choices it provides:

  • Unrestricted access - Any member of the public may access the material for nonprofit use.

  • Time limit - When you deposit with the archive, you will specify the date. Before that date, access is fully restricted. After that date, access will change to Unrestricted access.

  • Restricted access - When you deposit with the archive, you will specify restrictions on access. For example, "access only with permission of village council", "Access only with permission of descendents", etc.
