Step 1: Selecting a Project for Deployment

The Deployment Project Selection screen lets you select from a list of projects available for deployment.

The following are project types that can be deployed by Deployment Wizard:

  • HostExplorer—Lets you deploy a HostExplorer project.
  • Connectivity Secure Shell—Lets you deploy a Connectivity Secure Shell project, which is used for a Secure Shell (SSH) connection. The Secure Shell option is available only if you purchased and installed Connectivity Secure Shell.
  • 5250 Data Transfer—Lets you deploy a 5250 Data Transfer project, which is used to transfer files between a PC and a 5250 host.
  • Hummingbird FTP—Lets you deploy a Hummingbird FTP project, which is used to transfer files between a PC and an FTP server.
    Note: 
      Connectivity Secure Shell projects contain only the Connectivity Secure Shell Management Console and tunnel(s). To create Secure Shell-enabled HostExplorer or Hummingbird FTP deployment projects, select HostExplorer or Hummingbird FTP in the Deploy Project Type box.
