Open Systems is continually developing TRAVERSE applications to better serve our customers. Product updates help ensure these improvements can be put to use in a timely manner. These improvements are distributed to our Value Added Resellers through a private section of our Web site or by CD for major updates or version changes.

TRAVERSE is a client/server application in which triggers, stored procedures, and views are executed on the server for more efficient operation. These objects are stored in the company and system databases that reside on the server.

Open Systems gives you considerable flexibility when updating TRAVERSE. You have the option of updating the source code, the object code, and the server objects. This flexibility can save you time when updating, depending on your installation. Updates to TRAVERSE typically include modifications to these files.
