- Drag the slider to set the gamma value. Dragging to the left decreases the gamma value and dragging to the right increases it. The changes you make with the slider are automatically displayed in the related box, and vice-versa.
- You can also use the spin buttons, or type a specific value in the Gamma box to adjust the image gamma. To increase the gamma value, click the arrow pointing up. To decrease the gamma value, click the arrow pointing down.
When entering a value in the Gamma box, specify a value between 0.01 and 5.00. Ordinarily, good results can be obtained from your scanner using the default value of 1.
