Shadow

Use Shadow to set the shadow level for the entire image. To increase or decrease the image shadow level, specify a value between 0 and 99. The shadow level of the image color channel you make adjustments for will be increased or decreased, according to the value you specified. Decreasing the shadow level highlights the image.
When adjusting the shadow level, you can specify only values less than the current highlight value.
  • To set the shadow level, drag the slider to adjust the shadow. Dragging to the left decreases the shadow level and dragging to the right increases it. The changes you make with the slider are automatically displayed in the related box, and vice-versa.
  • You can also use the spin buttons, or type a specific value in the Shadow box to adjust the shadow level. To increase the image shadow level, click the arrow pointing up. To decrease shadow level, click the arrow pointing down.
When entering a value in the Shadow box, specify a value between 0 and 99.
View the image in the preview box and make further adjustments if needed.
