Brightness

Use Brightness to set the level of color brightness for the entire image. To increase or decrease the color brightness, specify a value between -100 and 100. The brightness of the color channel you make adjustments for will be increased or decreased, according to the value you specified.
  • Drag the slider to adjust the brightness. Dragging to the left decreases the brightness level and dragging to the right increases it. The changes you make with the slider are automatically displayed in the related box, and vice-versa.
  • You can also use the spin buttons to adjust the brightness level or type a specific value in the Brightness box. To increase the brightness, click the arrow pointing up. To decrease brightness, click the arrow pointing down.
    When entering a value in the Brightness box, follow these rules:

  • To decrease the image brightness, type a value between -100 and -1 in the Brightness box.
    To increase the image brightness, type a value between 1 and 100 in the Brightness box.
View the image in the preview box and make further adjustments if needed.
