| To set the resolution that will be used to scan the original image or document, select the appropriate value in the Resolution box. You can select a value from to . The higher the resolution, the finer the picture you get from the scanner and the larger the resulting file size. To estimate the disk space required for storing the image, look at the Size value in the Preview Pane below the image preview box. If the file size is too large, you can use a lower scanner resolution or select a smaller area to be scanned. |
