Enlarge/Reduce Image
Use Enlarge/Reduce to reduce or enlarge the size of the resulting image. To enlarge or reduce the image size, you can specify a Scale value between 25 and 400. The linear dimensions of the scanned image will be enlarged or reduced proportionally, according to the scale value you specified.
  • Use the spin buttons to adjust the scale value, or type a specific value in the Scale box. To increase the scaling factor, click the arrow pointing up. To decrease the scaling factor, click the arrow pointing down.
    When entering a value in the Scale box, follow these rules:
    To enlarge the image, type a value between 101 and 400 in the Scale box.
    To reduce the image, type a value between 25 and 99 in the Scale box.
To estimate the disk space required for storing the image, look at the Size value in the Preview Pane below the image preview box.
