Use Toolbox
When the ScanThru launches, the toolbox appears on the left side of the screen. It includes the tools that let you zoom, rotate and flip images and auto-select the image area for scanning. The result of the operation you applied to image is displayed in the image preview box.

Do the following...

In the toolbox,
click this button:

Zoom image in Zoom in
Zoom image out Zoom Out
Rotate image 90 degrees clockwise Rotate
Flip image vertically Flip
Select Image Area To Scan Select
