Background Removal |
| Use the Background Removal filter to uniform (do white) a light image background. The best way of using this filter is to apply it to images that are scanned from newspapers. When you apply the Background Removal filter, the effect is applied to the whole image, and you cannot apply it to the selection. Use the Background Level slider or spin buttons to adjust the Background Removal filter strength. If the Background Level is equal to zero, then no image background is removed. Click the Auto button to fit the Background Level automatically by selection. |
