Contrast

Use Contrast to set the color contrast for the entire image. To increase or decrease the color contrast, specify a value between -100 and 100. The contrast of the color channel you make adjustments for will be increased or decreased, according to the value you specified.
  • Drag the slider to adjust the contrast. Dragging to the left decreases the contrast level and dragging to the right increases it. The changes you make with the slider are automatically displayed in the related box, and vice-versa.
  • You can also use the spin buttons to adjust the contrast level, or type a specific value in the Contrast box. To increase the image contrast, click the arrow pointing up. To decrease contrast, click the arrow pointing down.
When entering a value in the Contrast box, follow these rules:
To decrease the image contrast, type a value between -100 and -1 in the Contrast box.
To increase the image contrast, type a value between 1 and 100 in the Contrast box.
