Save a document
You can save Tagged Image File Format (TIFF) documents created in Microsoft Office Document Imaging for use in other programs.
- On the File menu, click Save.
Save a document with a new file name
- On the File menu, click Save As.
- In the File name box, type the new file name.
- Click OK.
Note When you save a TIFF file in Office Document Imaging, the optical character recognition (OCR) text is saved within the TIFF file. If you open and save the TIFF file using another program, the OCR text will be lost. You must run OCR again using Office Document Imaging if you want to access the text in the TIFF file.
