ChordMap Miscellaneous Controls

Snap To DropDownList

Set Snap To interval. This can be Notes, Selected, Bar, HalfBar, or Beat).

Controls what to snap to when inserting or deleting pitches in the Chords Panel.

Show Beats CheckBox

Show beat lines as well as bar lines.

One Octave CheckBox

If checked, displays Midi Window reduced to one octave. Else displays actual note pitches.

Show Keyboard CheckBox

Show black notes of the midi keyboard (default colour grey) in Midi Panel and Chords Panel.

Transpose Display: Chord Names Numeric Input

Transpose the Chord Names pane, but not the Chord Notes pane, by this number of semitones.

This will allow you to type in chord names in the Chord Names pane that are a transposition of the notes in the ChordNotes pane.

When the chordfile is saved, it will use the notes in the Chord Notes pane, and adjust the chord names if necessary.

Transpose Notes: Chord Notes '+'/'-' Commands

Transpose the Chord Notes pane, but not the Chord Names pane, up or down.

This will allow you to change the notes in the Chord Notes pane, whilst keeping the names of the chords in the Chord Names pane the same.

When the chordfile is saved, it will use the notes in the Chord Notes pane, and adjust the chord names if necessary.

Transpose Notes: Keys '+'/'-' Commands

Transpose all keys in the ChordMap up or down.

The key chosen will have the minimum number of sharps or flats in the key signature.

Transpose the Chord Notes pane, but not the Chord Names pane, up or down.

This will allow you to change the notes and keys in the Chord Notes pane, whilst keeping the names of the chords in the Chord Names pane the same.

When the chordfile is saved, it will use the notes and keys in the Chord Notes pane, and adjust the chord names if necessary.

Chord Div Options (Bar, Bar/2, Beat, Auto)

Set the Chord Div value. This is used when generating chords to determine the time value to generate chords into.

A setting of Auto will analyse the chords and decide on an optimum value dynamically.
