You can use this dialog box to specify the character set and character sort sequence used in any SQL sorts on the file being transferred from an AS/400 host to your PC.

Sort

Sort Sequence—Specifies the character set to use for any SQL sorts on the file being transferred.

Table—Specifies the name of the user-specified sort table. This option becomes available when you choose the User Specified Table option in the Sort Sequence drop-down list.

Language

Language—Selects the language (character set) for the file being transferred. This option becomes available when you choose either the Shared Weight Table or Unique Weight Table options in the Sort Sequence drop-down list.

Language ID—Selects the language to use for the file being transferred. This option becomes available when you choose the User Specified Table option in the Sort Sequence drop-down list.
