Name Synonyms Tab (Advanced Entity Properties Dialog Box)

Use this tab to specify a synonym for a particular instance of an entity and add the specified names to the model as if they were added from the database.

This is useful for situations in which certain names you want to be recognized are not present in the database or are not stored in a form that users expect. For example, a product name may be stored in the database as "chair, wicker," but users may typically refer to it as a "wicker chair." Similarly, "Big Apple" may appear in the database as "New York."
