Install Office Proofing Tools

When you install Microsoft Office 2003 Proofing Tools, the proofing tools— for example, dictionaries and thesauri— are added to each of your Microsoft Office 2003 programs. You do not start Office 2003 Proofing Tools as a separate program; instead, new tools for working in various languages appear as dialog box options or menu commands in your Office programs.

• Insert the Microsoft Office 2003 Proofing Tools CD-ROM into your CD-ROM drive.

  After a moment, the Microsoft Office 2003 Proofing Tools Setup Wizard appears. Follow the instructions in the setup wizard to install Office 2003 Proofing Tools.

  If the wizard doesn't appear, do the following:

  1. On the Microsoft Windows Start menu, click Run.
  2. In the Open box, type the letter of your CD-ROM drive, followed by a colon and a backslash, followed by ptksetup.exe.

     For example, if your CD-ROM drive is D, type d:\ptksetup.exe.

  3. Click OK.
