All software components in FactorySuite 2000/7.1 will be version 7.1, except for some of the I/O Servers. The version number can be viewed using the License Utility and is listed on label of the floppy diskette on which the FactorySuite 2000 license file is distributed.

When an installed FactorySuite software component starts up, the license file will be checked to ensure that the current version is licensed for use. If the software component version and the licensed version are not the same, the software component will default to either an invalid or absent license mode.
