Virtual Names Tab

To create a new virtual name, complete the following steps:

1. Click Add.
2. In the Virtual Name field, enter the new virtual name you want to create.
3. Double-click on the Physical Name field and select a mapping from the drop-down list or enter a new mapping directly into the Physical Name field.
4. Click Save IVI Configuration at the top of the configuration view to save the new virtual name configuration. If you decide not to save your changes, click Revert to revert to the previous configuration.

The new mapping appears in the Virtual Name Mappings table.

Note  To remove a virtual name, highlight its name in the Virtual Name Mappings table and click Remove.
