About providing custom instructions for a PivotTable list

Depending on the skills of your users and the type of work they want to do, you might want to supplement the run-time Help by providing custom instructions for your PivotTable list on the Web page. However, you cannot connect your instructions directly to the online Help provided with the PivotTable list.

You can provide instructions by including text directly on the Web page that describes the PivotTable list, or by providing a hyperlink to a separate Web page of instructions.
