4 3 Start Multiple Listeners

Install LANSA on Linux

4.3 Start Multiple Listeners

In some circumstances it is necessary to have two separate LANSA listeners. This is usually the case when you have two separate installations of LANSA on the same machine; for example, one for testing and one for production. You may want to stop and start the listener in the testing environment to experiment with various settings, without affecting production users.

If you have more than one listener to support different LANSA installations, you should create completely different scripts to start and stop each listener. Please refer to 4.2 Modify LANSA Configuration Files and Environment Variables for further details.

Please refer to Running Multiple Listener Jobs in the LANSA Communications Setup Guide for further details.
