Step 2 Prepare database for LANSA requires DBA privileges

Install LANSA on Linux

Step 2. Prepare database for LANSA (requires DBA privileges)

1.  Install and configure ORACLE Server. Note that this is not necessarily the same machine to be used to run LANSA for Linux.

2.  Create a database for LANSA (e.g. using dbca) and ensure the Oracle listener is running (using the default port of 1521).

3.  Note the host name of ORACLE Server, ORACLE SID, and ORACLE userid and password. These information will be provided to the LANSA for Linux installer later.
