2.3 Identifiers and keywords

Identifiers (also referred to as names) are described by the following lexical definitions:

identifier ::= (letter|"_") (letter | digit | "_")*
letter ::= lowercase | uppercase
lowercase ::= "a"..."z"
uppercase ::= "A"..."Z"
digit ::= "0"..."9"
