Demodulation

Owning Palette: Analog

Use the VIs on the Demodulation palette to perform analog demodulation of amplitude- (AM), frequency- (FM), and phase-modulated (PM) signals.

Palette Object Description
MT Demodulate AM

Demodulates an amplitude-modulated signal specified by the AM modulated waveform parameter, with optional suppression of the carrier wave. The demodulated signal is returned in the AM demodulated waveform parameter.

MT Demodulate FM

Performs frequency demodulation on the incoming I/Q signal. The recovered information signal is returned in the FM demodulated waveform parameter.

MT Demodulate PM

Performs phase demodulation on the incoming I/Q signal. The information signal is computed as a result of the demodulation and returned in the PM demodulated waveform output. This VI calculates any offset from the expected carrier frequency specified in the MT Configure Downconversion Settings VI.

MT Downconvert Passband

Downconverts real passband signal data of a user-specified bandwidth. The complex instance of this VI downconverts a complex baseband signal, centered around a nonzero center frequency, to a center frequency of zero. The baseband I/Q signal (complex envelope) is returned in the downconverted waveform parameter.
