Use the Commands and Options dialog box
If you leave the Commands and Options dialog box displayed while you select different parts of the chart, the available tabs and their contents change to reflect your current selection.
- Display the Commands and Options dialog box by right-clicking the chart and then clicking Commands and Options on the shortcut menu.
- Select the part of the chart that you want to modify by clicking once to select a group (such as a data series) and clicking a second time to select an individual item in a group (such as a data marker within the series). You can also select the part you want to modify in the Select list on the General tab of the Commands and Options dialog box.
- Click the tab in the Commands and Options dialog box that contains the options you want to modify, and then make changes.
- If you don't see tabs displayed for the options you want to modify, you might need to select a different item in the chart.
