It is critical that the Failover Server runs the same version as its monitored IPFX Servers.
When an upgrade is planned for the monitored IPFX Server(s):
- Shut down the Failover Server.
- Upgrade the Failover Server and all its monitored IPFX Servers at the same time.
- When the upgrade is complete, bring up the IPFX Servers first, then restart the Failover Server.
- The newly-upgraded IPFX Servers will need to be replicated manually.
