Generates a Pseudo-Random Binary Sequence (PRBS).

Details

Place on the block diagram  Find on the Functions palette
samples specifies the number of samples the PRBS contains. samples must be greater than or equal to 0. The default is 128.
polynomial order specifies the order of the modulo-2 primitive polynomial used to generate the PRBS. The default is 31.
seed, when greater than 0, causes reseeding of the noise sample generator. The default is -1.
upsampling factor specifies how many times the original binary Maximum Length Sequence (MLS) gets upsampled to generate the PRBS.
PRBS returns a Pseudo-Random Binary Sequence.

SI Generate Pseudo-Random Binary Sequence Details

The Pseudo-Random Binary Sequence (PRBS) also is known as the binary MLS. Using the upsampling factor, the original binary maximum length sequence is upsampled. The power spectrum of the PRBS narrows as the upsampling factor increases, as shown in the following figures.
