Simulated Acquisition

Use Simulated Acquisition to select a folder of image files, or an AVI to simulate an acquisition.

Note  NI Vision must installed in the location the Vision Acquisition Express VI will run for the Simulated Acquisition feature to be available.

Folder of Images

Complete the following steps to configure an acquisition with a folder of image files:

1. Use the Image Path control to specify a path to the image to use for a simulated acquisition.
2. If the Cycle Through Folder of Images option is checked, the acquisition will acquire additional image files in the same folder as the image file specified by image path.

   Note  This control is not available when the acquisition type is Single Acquisition with Processing.

3. Click Next.

AVI Path

Complete the following steps to configure an acquisition with an AVI path:

1. Use the AVI Path control to specify a path to the AVI file to use for a simulated acquisition.

   Note  This acquisition type is not available when acquiring on remote targets.

2. Click Next.
