Returning Result Sets in SQL Query Analyzer

SQL Query Analyzer provides multiple ways for returning result sets.

• Within the Query window, you can choose whether the Results pane should be displayed below the Editor pane or on a separate Results tab.
  
  
• You can control whether the Results pane is displayed as text or as one or more grids.
  
  
• You can choose to have the results saved to a file.
  
  
• If you open a table in Object Browser or from the Object Search dialog box, the results are displayed in the Open Table window. You can perform insert, update, and delete operations in the Open Table window.
