Create or link to a SharePoint picture library
If you need to share your pictures with team members or business partners, creating a picture library in Microsoft Windows SharePoint Services can provide a rich collaboration experience.
Create a SharePoint picture library
- In the Picture Shortcuts pane, click Add Picture Shortcut.
- In the Folder name box, type the address of the top-level Web site or subsite where you want to create the picture library.
- Click Add.
- Right-click on the picture shortcut you just added, and then click New folder.
- Type a name for the library, and then click Create.
Link to an existing SharePoint picture library
- In the Picture Shortcuts pane, click Add Picture Shortcut.
- In the Folder name box, type the address of the picture library.
- Click Add.
Note You can add a folder to the picture library by right-clicking the picture shortcut, and then clicking New Folder.
