Show or hide file names under pictures

When you are working in Thumbnail or Filmstrip view, file names display under each picture by default. You can hide the file names to fit more files in the view.

• On the View menu, click Show File Names.

Notes

• If no check mark appears next to the command, Microsoft Office Picture Manager won't display the file names. If a check mark appears next to the command, Office Picture Manager will display the file names.
• If you hide file names, you can still see them under the preview pane when a picture is selected.
