Installing the LDK

The LDK installation CD contains all of the necessary files to create a localized version of ACT!. See the Installation catalog for an overview of files that install on your computer.

To install the LDK

1. Prepare the system where you are installing the LDK with the system requirements in the Introduction.
2. Insert the LDK CD and follow the instructions on the screen to install the files.

After installing the LDK, you must configure Alchemy Catalyst to work properly with the LDK files.

To configure Alchemy Catalyst

1. In Catalyst, in the Tools menu, point to Options, and then click .Net Framework.
2. Specify a Key file of C:\program files\ACT\ACT LDK\MercuryPublicKey.snk.
3. Select Extract only modified resources to satellite assemblies.
