Correcting metadata errors

If you encounter metadata errors while validating tasks and processes, you must correct them before you can run your processes. You can view validation results in the Validation Messages window. For example, if you entered metadata for a task that instructed the task to place files in a directory that does not exist, an error message would appear in the window.

To view and correct metadata errors

1. Click a task that displays an error iconA blue "pause" icon indicates a validation error..
2. Review the error message in the Validation Messages window.
3. Make the necessary corrections and validate the item again.
